Master Medical Science

Course Overview

The Master of Medical Science (By Research) is a research-heavy postgraduate program that gives students advanced knowledge and skills in medical science. Working independently under the guidance of a mentor, students concentrate on sound research methods, experimental design, and data analysis, and finish with a research thesis. The program stresses critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication, preparing graduates for careers in research, academia, healthcare, and the biotechnology sector. Students are encouraged to share their findings through publications and presentations, helping to move medical knowledge and practice forward.

Entry Requirement

Applicants need a Bachelor’s degree in a related field with a minimum CGPA of 2.75, from a local or other higher learning institution approved by the UniKL Senate.

Those with other qualifications or certificates (such as UEC, Foundation, or STAM) should contact the educational consultants or submit an application so their eligibility can be assessed.
