Course Overview

The Diploma of Medical Laboratory Technology at UniKL University Malaysia trains students to become competent biomedical technologists who work in biomedical laboratories. Graduates are important members of healthcare teams and can work in hospitals, clinics, research facilities, and other settings. The program builds knowledge and technical skills, along with communication, professionalism, and a habit of lifelong learning.

Graduates are prepared to troubleshoot laboratory problems, work well in teams, and follow safety standards. They also bring critical thinking and an awareness of management to their work in the field.

Entry Requirement

SPM:
A pass in SPM or an equivalent qualification, including passes in Bahasa Melayu and English, plus credits in five (5) subjects: Mathematics, one (1) Science subject (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or General/Applied Science), and any three (3) other subjects, which may include Bahasa Melayu and/or English.
