Diploma in Pharmacy

Course Overview

The Diploma in Pharmacy at UniKL University Malaysia is a three-year program that trains students to work as pharmacy assistants, particularly in community pharmacies. Students build a strong theoretical foundation and gain hands-on experience through placements in both government and private hospitals. The curriculum centers on delivering quality clinical pharmacy services and developing pharmaceutical care skills.

Graduates finish with solid knowledge and competence, along with leadership, teamwork, and communication abilities. They are encouraged to keep learning throughout their careers and to act with professionalism, ethics, and social responsibility. The program stresses applying pharmaceutical knowledge in practice, together with practical skills, social awareness, critical thinking, and entrepreneurial and management skills. On successful completion, graduates are awarded a recognized diploma by the university.

Entry Requirement

SPM:
A pass in SPM or an equivalent qualification, including passes in Bahasa Melayu and English, plus credits in five (5) subjects: Mathematics, one (1) Science subject (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or General/Applied Science), and any three (3) other subjects, which may include Bahasa Melayu and/or English.
