Diploma in Nursing

Course Overview

The Diploma in Nursing at UniKL University Malaysia is a three-year program that prepares students for a range of nursing roles in the healthcare sector. Students combine classroom learning with hands-on training in government hospitals and health clinics. The program builds knowledge and competence, along with leadership, teamwork, and communication skills.

Graduates are expected to keep learning throughout their careers and to act with professionalism and social responsibility. By the end of the program, they can apply nursing science, deliver comprehensive patient care, and understand the social issues that affect health. They also learn to uphold ethical standards, work effectively in teams, solve problems, and develop management skills. The diploma is recognized by the Nursing Board of Malaysia and meets the standards set by the MQA.

Entry Requirement

SPM:
A pass in SPM or an equivalent qualification, with credits (minimum Grade C) in five (5) subjects: Bahasa Melayu, Mathematics (Elementary, Additional, or Modern), one (1) Science subject (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or General/Applied Science), and two (2) other subjects. Applicants must also have a pass in English.
