Diploma in Medical Imaging

Course Overview

The Diploma in Medical Imaging at UniKL University Malaysia trains students to become skilled, knowledgeable diagnostic radiographers with strong soft skills. Graduates develop technical expertise and problem-solving abilities, along with effective communication and teamwork. They are also encouraged to keep learning and improving throughout their careers. The program promotes professionalism, ethics, and social responsibility, and it prepares graduates for entrepreneurial ventures in the field.

Learning outcomes cover a broad base of knowledge, critical thinking, and practical competence in medical imaging. Students also build interpersonal and communication skills, digital and numeracy skills, leadership abilities, and personal development, all grounded in ethical professional practice.

Entry Requirement

SPM:
A pass in SPM or an equivalent qualification, including passes in Bahasa Melayu and English, plus credits in five (5) subjects: Mathematics, one (1) Science subject (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or General/Applied Science), and any three (3) other subjects, which may include Bahasa Melayu and/or English.
