Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours)

Course Overview

The Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) at UniKL Malaysia is a four-year undergraduate degree, or a three-year programme for post-diploma students, that trains students to become competent physiotherapy practitioners. It focuses on theoretical and clinical knowledge, the development of clinical reasoning skills, and ethical, professional conduct.

Students study subjects such as anatomy, physiology, exercise science, and specialised medical courses. The programme stresses practical skills, teamwork, critical thinking, and lifelong learning. Graduates are prepared to deliver effective physiotherapy care, act with social responsibility, and apply technopreneurship skills in managing physiotherapy practice.

Entry Requirements

• Matriculation / STPM: A pass in Matriculation, Pre-University, or the Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM), or an equivalent qualification, with a minimum GPA of 2.33 in two of the following subjects: Biology, Physics or Mathematics, and Chemistry.
