Course Overview

The Bachelor of Automotive Engineering Technology (Maintenance) with Honours at UniKL MFI focuses on automotive maintenance engineering technology. It aims to produce knowledgeable, competent, and innovative graduates who have leadership, teamwork, and communication skills. The programme supports Malaysia’s automotive industry by nurturing ethical, resilient engineering technologists with technopreneurial skills. Students gain hands-on laboratory experience in automotive engineering processes, mechanical testing, metallurgy, emission testing, and dynamometer testing. Graduates will be able to apply engineering knowledge, use modern engineering and IT tools to solve problems, and understand the impact of engineering solutions on society, the economy, safety, and the environment. They can work as automotive specialists or automotive sales engineers, or continue to further study.

Entry Requirement

STPM/Matriculation/Foundation:
Pass in STPM, Matriculation, Foundation in Science/Science and Technology, or its equivalent, with a minimum CGPA of 2.0 and at least Grade C in Mathematics and one relevant Science subject.

Diploma:
Pass in a recognised Diploma in Engineering/Engineering Technology in a related field with a minimum CGPA of 2.50.
