Bachelor in Pharmaceutical Technology (Honours)

Course Overview

UniKL Malaysia offers the Bachelor in Pharmaceutical Technology (Honours), a 3.5-year undergraduate degree that trains students for work in the pharmaceutical industry. The curriculum spans drug discovery, formulation, evaluation, and marketing. Teaching combines lectures, tutorials, hands-on practicals, and an industrial internship, and students are assessed through ongoing coursework plus exams at the end of each semester.

The program aims to produce graduates who are knowledgeable, skilled, and innovative. They should act professionally, communicate and lead well, keep learning throughout their careers, and be able to take part in marketing and entrepreneurship. By the end, graduates should be able to:

• apply pharmaceutical science knowledge and show practical lab skills

• understand social issues and behave ethically and professionally

• communicate clearly, work in teams, and think critically

• keep learning independently

• handle management and marketing tasks

Entry Requirements

Applicants with STPM, Matriculation, A-Levels, a pre-university program, or an equivalent need a minimum CGPA of 2.50 in three science subjects, one of which must be Chemistry.

Applicants with other qualifications, such as UEC, a Foundation program, or STAM, should contact the university's education consultants or submit an application for an admission assessment.
