Course Overview

The Bachelor of Accounting and Finance (Hons.) Program at Taylor's University Malaysia aims to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of accounting and finance, covering areas such as financial accounting, assurance, taxation, corporate finance, and financial management. Upon graduation, students will have the skills to work independently in a business setting and to prepare and analyze financial reports and statements. It is recommended that students who wish to pursue a long-term career in accounting obtain a professional qualification after completing the program.

Entry Requirements

• Pass SPM / O-Level or equivalent with 5 credits including a pass in English and Mathematics for entry with pre-university/ foundation qualification (Except for UEC)

1. Dual Award: Bachelor of Commerce (major in Accounting)

   • Duration: 2+1 years

   • Partner University: University of Canterbury, New Zealand

   • Students who choose this program will receive a Dual Award upon completion, earning a Bachelor of Commerce (major in Accounting) from both Taylor's University and the University of Canterbury.

2. Dual Award: Bachelor of Arts (Hons) Accounting & Finance

   • Duration options: 3+0 years or 2+1 years

   • Partner University: UWE, United Kingdom

   • Students who select either the 3+0 or 2+1 year program will be awarded a Dual Award, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) Accounting & Finance from both Taylor's University and UWE.
