Master of Medical Science in Aesthetic Medicine

Course Overview

This programme is designed for medical and dental professionals who wish to expand their knowledge and expertise in aesthetic medicine. It focuses on the scientific principles underlying aesthetic treatments, as well as the relevant legislation and the application of evidence-based medicine (EBM) to support the delivery of safe, effective, and professional services.

Students are taught by experienced and qualified academic staff, together with LCP-certified aesthetic practitioners. The programme provides access to modern facilities and advanced equipment to create an effective learning environment while supporting students’ academic and professional development. Students may also participate in research activities and have opportunities to contribute to scientific publications within the field of aesthetic medicine.

The programme is completed over three semesters, comprising 10 modules and 40 credits over a period of 1.5 years. Depending on the module, assessment may include 20–40% coursework and 50–60% final examinations and research projects.

Entry Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine or Dentistry, or an equivalent qualification in a related field, with a minimum CGPA of 2.50, subject to acceptance by the HEP Senate.
