Course Overview

The Diploma in Beauty and Health at MAHSA University is designed to equip students with the knowledge and practical skills needed to build a successful career in the beauty, wellness, and personal care industry. The programme combines theoretical learning with hands-on training in areas such as skincare, makeup, hair services, nail care, body slimming, salon management, and professional customer service.

Alongside technical skills, students develop creativity, professionalism, personal development, and an understanding of ethical practices. The programme also introduces essential concepts related to health, nutrition, and mental well-being. Through practical sessions and industrial placements, students gain valuable real-world experience and are prepared for careers as beauticians, makeup artists, spa managers, wellness consultants, and other professionals within the growing beauty and wellness sector.

Entry Requirements

STPM

Applicants must pass the Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) with a minimum Grade C (GP 2.00) in any subject or an equivalent qualification. Applicants must also have three (3) SPM credits, including Mathematics, one Science subject, and one additional subject, or an equivalent qualification.

Applicants holding other qualifications or certificates, such as UEC, Foundation, STAM, or equivalent qualifications, are advised to contact the university’s educational consultants or submit an application for an admission assessment.
