Course Overview

The Diploma in Architectural Technology at MAHSA University Malaysia introduces students to an emerging field that combines science, engineering, technology, and industry practices. The programme incorporates Building Information Modelling (BIM) and sustainability to prepare students for the evolving demands of the architectural and construction industries.

As the industry continues to embrace digital transformation, BIM has become increasingly important in the design and construction process. The programme explores how digital technologies can improve building design, production, performance, environmental sustainability, cost efficiency, and building management. It also reflects the evolving role of the Architectural Technologist, from traditional technical support to a specialized professional involved in building performance, construction processes, and design solutions.

Upon completion, graduates may also continue their education through a Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Technology or other related disciplines.

Entry Requirements

• SPM: Minimum 3 Credits (Cs), including Mathematics, with a pass in English and Drawing.

• Applicants with other qualifications such as UEC, Foundation, STAM, or equivalent certificates may be considered subject to admission assessment.
