Course Overview

The Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Nursing at MAHSA University is a comprehensive and practical undergraduate programme designed for individuals who are passionate about promoting and improving the health and well-being of individuals, families, communities, and society.

Throughout the programme, students will study a broad range of subjects covering both health sciences and humanities. Key areas include anatomy, biology, chemistry, microbiology, nutrition, pathology, immunology, pathophysiology, pharmacology, paediatric nursing, maternity nursing, mental health nursing, healthy ageing, and psychology.

The programme combines academic learning with practical training through simulation-based exercises and hands-on sessions using clinical and medical equipment. This approach allows students to develop the technical, clinical, and interpersonal skills required for effective nursing practice.

Upon graduation, students will be equipped with the knowledge, clinical competencies, and professional skills needed to provide quality healthcare to patients of different ages across a variety of healthcare settings. Entry Requirements

STPM

• Pass STPM or an equivalent qualification with a minimum CGPA of 2.50.
