Course Overview

The Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Architectural Technology at MAHSA University Malaysia is a forward-looking programme that combines science, engineering, technology, and industry practices within the field of architecture. As one of Malaysia’s emerging disciplines, Architectural Technology focuses on the use of modern technologies to improve the design, construction, performance, and management of buildings. The programme incorporates Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Green Technology to prepare students for the evolving needs of the construction industry.

With the growing digitalization of architectural design and construction, BIM has become an important tool for managing building information and improving efficiency throughout the construction process. The programme also emphasizes environmental sustainability, building performance, productivity, and cost effectiveness.

The role of an Architectural Technologist has developed beyond traditional technical support, with professionals increasingly contributing as building specialists and specialist designers. Students learn to apply their knowledge of building performance, construction processes, and production methods to support multidisciplinary project teams.

Entry Requirements

STPM / A-Level

• Pass STPM / A-Level with a full pass in two (2) subjects.

• Applicants with other qualifications or certificates, such as UEC, Foundation, STAM, or equivalent qualifications, may contact the educational consultants or submit an application for an admission assessment.
