Bachelor of Science Biotechnology (Honours)

Course Overview

The Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology (Hons) at MAHSA University Malaysia is a three-year programme designed to equip students with the knowledge and practical skills needed to pursue careers in biotechnology and related fields. The programme covers a broad range of subjects, including biology, chemistry, bioprocess engineering, plant and animal biotechnology, statistics, genetics, genetic engineering, immunology, cellular and molecular biology, and recombinant DNA technology.

Graduates can explore a variety of career opportunities in biotechnology, including academic and research roles, industry positions, quality analysis, product specialization, entrepreneurship, and other related areas.

Entry Requirements

STPM

• Pass STPM with a minimum Grade C (GPA 2.00) in any two (2) subjects, or an equivalent qualification.

• Applicants must also have SPM with three (3) credits, including Mathematics, one Science subject, and one other subject, or an equivalent qualification.

• Applicants with other qualifications, such as UEC, Foundation, STAM, or equivalent certificates, may contact the educational consultants or submit an application for an admission assessment.
