Course Overview

The Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Hons) at MAHSA University is a four-year undergraduate programme designed to prepare students for careers in physiotherapy and patient rehabilitation. The programme focuses on helping individuals manage pain, improve movement, restore muscle function, and achieve greater mobility while recovering from neurological, cardiorespiratory, musculoskeletal, and other disabling conditions.

Students develop a strong foundation in functional anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, psychology, physiotherapy rehabilitation, clinical practice, and health science research. The programme also provides practical training in therapeutic techniques, including physical manipulation, targeted exercises, electrotherapy, ultrasound, acupuncture, and hydrotherapy, enabling students to provide rehabilitation based on individual patient needs.

Entry Requirements

STPM / Matriculation / Pre-University

• Pass Matriculation, Pre-University, STPM, or an equivalent qualification with a minimum GPA of 2.33 in two (2) of the following subjects:

  • Biology

  • Physics / Mathematics

  • Chemistry
