Course Overview

MAHSA University’s Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) is a five-year medical degree structured into two phases, combining foundational medical education with extensive clinical training.

Phase 1 covers the first two years and is primarily delivered at the MAHSA University campus. During this stage, students build their foundational medical knowledge while receiving initial exposure to clinical medicine at Hospital Tanjung Karang.

Phase 2 consists of the final three years and focuses on clinical education through hospital and clinic-based training. Students gain practical experience at Hospital Sungai Buloh, Hospital Kuala Lumpur, and Hospital Tanjung Karang, as well as at Klinik Kesihatan AU2, Rawang Perdana, Taman Ehsan, and Taman Medan. This clinical exposure allows students to experience different healthcare environments, including major referral hospitals, community hospitals, and primary healthcare facilities.

Upon successful completion of the five-year programme, graduates will be awarded the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree.

Entry Requirements

STPM/A-Levels

• Minimum grades of BBB, ABC, or AAC in three subjects, including:

  • Biology

  • Chemistry

  • Physics/Mathematics
