Bachelor of Information Technology (Hons) - Online Degree

Course Overview

MAHSA University's Bachelor of Information Technology (Hons) via Open and Distance Learning (ODL) runs over three years and was developed with input from industry experts, with approval from the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA). Students can specialize in one of four tracks: Data Management, Game Computing, Mobile Computing, or Network Computing, letting them shape their studies around their own interests and career direction.

The program spans seven semesters, followed by an industrial attachment in the second semester of Year 3. During this placement, students are required to submit a training report, and their performance is assessed by the host organization as part of MQA's accreditation standards.

Beyond building strong theoretical and hands-on technical skills, the program also introduces students to strategic planning and project management, preparing them for varied and evolving roles in the IT industry.
