Course Overview

This accounting program prepares graduates for direct entry into the profession across both the public and private sectors, and lays the groundwork for pursuing recognized certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CIMA alongside practical training at accounting firms. Accounting remains one of the most respected professions, and this program is designed to reflect that standard.

Developed in collaboration with employers, industry experts, and academics, the curriculum blends theoretical foundations with hands-on, practical skills. Students build strong capabilities in research and critical thinking, financial statement analysis, report writing, and stakeholder communication—skills that position graduates for employment right after completing their studies.

The program covers core areas of accounting and finance, including financial and managerial accounting, auditing, taxation, corporate finance, business law, and international financial reporting standards, alongside broader business skills such as organizational behavior, innovation, and professional communication.

Entry Requirements

STPM applicants: A pass in STPM (or equivalent) with a minimum Grade C+ (GP 2.33) in any two (2) subjects, plus a credit in Mathematics and a pass in English at SPM level.

Other qualifications (UEC, Foundation, STAM, etc.): Applicants should reach out to the university's education consultants or submit an application for an admissions assessment.
