Course Overview

The Master of Business Administration with a Specialism in Business Analytics (ODL) at Asia Pacific University (APU) is an online postgraduate programme designed to develop advanced business management skills combined with data analytics expertise. The programme prepares professionals and aspiring managers to make informed, data-driven decisions and address complex business challenges in today’s digital economy.

Optional APU–DMU Dual Degree Scheme

Students enrolled in the Master of Business Administration with a Specialism in Business Analytics (ODL) have the opportunity to participate in the optional APU–DMU Dual Degree Scheme. Upon successful completion of the programme, participants receive two degree certificates and academic transcripts—one awarded by Asia Pacific University (APU), Malaysia, and another by De Montfort University (DMU), United Kingdom.

Participation in this scheme is optional and requires an additional fee of GBP 375 per year.

General Entry Requirements

Applicants must satisfy one of the following requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in a related field with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 or equivalent qualification accepted by the APU Senate; or

• A Bachelor’s degree in a related field with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 but below CGPA 2.50, subject to a rigorous internal assessment; or

• A Bachelor’s degree in a non-related field with a minimum CGPA of 2.00, with relevant working experience and subject to internal assessment; or

• A Bachelor’s degree in a non-related field with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 without relevant working experience, subject to completion of prerequisite courses.

English Language Requirement (International Students):

• IELTS: 6.0 or equivalent qualification.
