Master in Digital Communication

Course Overview

The Master in Digital Communication is designed to develop advanced knowledge and practical skills in digital communication, international communication, and media strategy. The programme focuses on how digital technologies, social media, artificial intelligence, and data analytics are transforming communication across industries. Students learn to create effective communication strategies, manage digital campaigns, analyze media performance, and understand the impact of culture on global communication. The programme is coursework-based with no final examinations, emphasizing practical assignments and a research project.

Entry Requirements – Master in Digital Communication (APU)

Academic Requirements

Applicants must meet one of the following:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field with a minimum CGPA of 2.50, or an equivalent qualification recognized by the APU Senate.

• Bachelor's degree in a related field with a CGPA between 2.00 and 2.49, subject to a rigorous internal assessment.

• Bachelor's degree in a non-related field with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and relevant working experience, subject to a rigorous internal assessment.

• Bachelor's degree in a non-related field with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 without relevant working experience, subject to successfully completing the pre-requisite modules:

  • Fundamentals of Communication

  • Media Theories

English Language Requirements (International Students)

Applicants must demonstrate English proficiency through one of the following:

• IELTS: Overall score of 6.0, or

• An equivalent English language qualification accepted by APU.

Students whose previous Bachelor's or Master's degree was taught entirely in English may be eligible for an exemption, subject to providing the required supporting documents
