Course Overview

The Foundation Programme (Computing & Technology Route) at Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation (APU), Malaysia is a 12-month preparatory programme designed for students who have completed SPM, IGCSE, O-Levels, or equivalent qualifications. The programme provides students with the essential academic knowledge, technical skills, and practical foundation required to successfully progress into the first year of their chosen undergraduate degree.

Throughout the programme, students are introduced to the fundamental concepts of computing, information technology, programming, mathematics, and emerging technologies, enabling them to build a solid understanding of the field while exploring their academic interests. This foundation helps students make informed decisions about the degree programme that best aligns with their career aspirations and future goals.

The programme also offers flexibility by allowing students to choose progression pathways based on their interests, providing a seamless transition into a wide range of computing and technology-related degree programmes offered at APU.

Entry Requirements

SPM

Applicants must have obtained 5 credits in at least 5 subjects at SPM level, including Mathematics, with a minimum pass in Bahasa Malaysia and Sejarah (History).

Applicants holding other qualifications or certificates, such as UEC, Foundation, STAM, or equivalent qualifications, are encouraged to contact the university’s educational consultants or submit an application for an admission assessment.
