Course Overview

The Foundation Programme (Business, Finance & Social Sciences Route) at Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation (APU), Malaysia is a 12-month preparatory programme designed for students who have completed SPM, IGCSE, O-Levels, or equivalent qualifications. The programme provides students with the essential academic foundation, knowledge, and practical skills required to successfully transition into the first year of their chosen undergraduate degree.

Throughout the programme, students are introduced to core concepts in business, finance, economics, management, and the social sciences, enabling them to develop a solid understanding of these disciplines while exploring their academic interests. This broad exposure helps students make well-informed decisions about the degree programme that best matches their career goals and aspirations.

Entry Requirements

SPM

Applicants must have obtained 5 credits in at least 5 subjects at SPM level, including a minimum pass in Bahasa Malaysia and Sejarah (History).

Applicants holding other qualifications or certificates, such as UEC, Foundation, STAM, or equivalent qualifications, are encouraged to contact the university’s educational consultants or submit an application for an admission assessment.
