Course Overview

The Foundation Programme (Architecture & Design Route) at Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation (APU), Malaysia is a 12-month preparatory programme designed for students who have completed SPM, IGCSE, O-Levels, or equivalent qualifications. The programme provides students with essential knowledge, skills, and academic preparation needed to successfully progress into the first year of their chosen undergraduate degree.

Throughout the programme, students are introduced to fundamental concepts related to architecture, design, creativity, and related disciplines, allowing them to explore their academic interests and identify the most suitable degree pathway. Upon completion, students can make informed decisions about their future studies and continue into relevant degree programmes at APU that match their foundation experience and career aspirations.

The flexible structure of the programme enables students to select suitable progression routes based on their interests, preparing them for further studies in architecture, design, and other related fields.

Entry Requirements

SPM

Applicants must have obtained 5 credits in at least 5 subjects at SPM level, with a minimum pass in Bahasa Malaysia and Sejarah (History).

For applicants with other qualifications or certificates such as UEC, Foundation, STAM, or equivalent qualifications, they are encouraged to contact the university’s educational consultants or submit an application for an admission assessment.
